perfect base for exploring the acropolis and beach views
I loved that the hotel was just a short walk to the fine Acropolis of Rhodes and also so close to Paralia Ixia beach, made my city strolls enjoyable, as I could easily explore both historic sites and relax by the water. The room was spacious with a nice balcony.

The hotel had a beautiful pool that really
Captured our attention . The staff was friendly, and we appreciated the daily activities they organized. The food could be improved as we found it a bit lacking in variety.

The hotel was well-maintained. The interior and exterior are well-tended with staff always busy cleaning. The reception was very helpful. Breakfast buffet was plentiful and the breakfast room was very clean and bright with staff happy to take care of guests needs. Room was comfortable, except bed was a bit hard. Taxi ride of 8 - 10 euro will get you into Rhodes City which is an experience not to be missed. There is not much to see around the hotel itself, but it is easy to spend your time at the hotel complex with the wonderful and clean pool, restaurants and bars. The beaches in the immediate area are not up to standards that most people expect in a beach, lots of trash, but people were using them. We were told that there are beautiful beaches on the opposite side of the island, but we were only in the area for 2.5 days so did not get to those beaches. We had a very nice stay at the hotel and if we go back to Rhodes, we would definitely stay here again.
We have never been to a resort where we had to furnish our own pool towels. So if you are planning on any pool time, either pack a towel or plan on spending around 8 euro to purchase one during your stay.

The hotel had a friendly atmosphere, the breakfast buffet was good, and the location was ideal - 2 minutes from the beach and Rhodes town a short drive or bus ride away. Nektaria at reception was friendly and helpful.
It felt more like a 3* than a 4* hotel. We were disappointed by the swimming pool, which had salty water, so it wasn't much different from going in the sea. The hotel is 40 years old and in a few places it shows - the lifts are old, small (3-4 adults is a squeeze), hot and stuffy, and slow. The air-conditioning in the bedroom isn't very efficient and you can't leave it on when you're not in the room. This isn't ideal with temperatures of 30-34c in July! Also, we didn't enjoy eating in the hotel restaurants because although the food was good, the service was extremely slow. We were only b&b but if we'd booked half or full board it would have been very frustrating.

I liked the calm atmosphere, the pool and the garden (very weel curated). The breakfest is also good.
The swimming pool open times too short in the evening.

We would recommend it. Stayed for 7 nights in this incredibly beautiful and pleasant place, greatly enjoyed that. The queen room was cosy with wrap round balcony, great views, for example and the location was marvellous.

great staff but limited poolside seating
The staff were friendly, going above and beyond to. The option to enjoy a swim-up bar while relaxing by the pool made our afternoons good! Dining options were varied, great to experience different cuisines daily. I enjoyed the fine garden view from our room.
The limited poolside seating often made it hard to find a spot during peak hours.
